My name is Ashleigh Peake, and I am a dancer in Western Australia. I started dancing at the age of three, when my mum got me and my sisters involved in the irish scene. From that day since, I've loved it!!!
I love doing competitions and performances for the excitment i get when i walk out on stage...any stage...even those where competition doesn't count. Coz it's not about the competition for me....it's the fun times I get to have with my friends. I get to see them almost everyday of the week! And I love performing with them because we have so much fun!!! I am doing something i absolutely enjoy to bits. I get to be creative, have fun, and have a good time, and still get fit at the same time :P
Not too long ago, I really wanted to know how to start making dancing costumes. So my mum showed me one day, and i've been making them ever since. I've made costumes for myself, my sisters, friends and others that i know within dancing in Western Australia. I hope to get my name out there and known to more people, so that i can see more of my dresses on dancers who love this whole LIFESTYLE of Irish Dancing!!!! Because what Irish Dancing is really about....is Friendship, Entertaining, and Having the BEST TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!!
